Originally raised in rural Pennsylvania, I spent hours exploring the woods and fields around our home. My love of nature led me to study science and medicine. My photography aims at capturing the essence, beauty, and spirit of the environment and its inhabitants.

My study of photography has taken me across the country to study with master landscape photographers including John Sexton, Alain Briot, George DeWolfe and Bruce Barnbaum. In addition, I find inspiration from the works of many of the great photographers of our time including Ansel Adams and Edwin Curtis.
